Year 5 has learnt that they will be learning about 'entertainment' this term with the driving question 'How has science influenced entertainment?'
To begin our inquiry Year 5 experienced different ways people are entertained. Students rotated through activities focused on video games, board games, cards, lego, podcasts, music, videos, reading and art.

What a great morning participating in the Socktober Gala Day, hosted by the Western Sydney Wanderers, Catholic Mission and Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese. It was a warm day, but plenty of Zooper Doopers and water kept everyone cool and hydrated.โฝ๏ธ๐ฅ ๐ฅ This was a wonderful opportunity for our students, who had the exciting experience of playing on the same synthetic training fields used by the Wanderers players themselves. A memorable day filled with fun, teamwork and energy!

As we begin the Churchโs new year, we paused together to embrace the season of waiting, hope, and trust โ preparing our hearts for the coming of Jesus at Christmas. They worked together to build, break apart and understand numbers in meaningful ways! ๐ Year 5 hit the field for rugby drills and practice, sharpening their passing, running, attacking and defending skills. โจ Year 1 Safe & Ready to Learn Reward! โจ Today Year 1 celebrated their reward for living safely, loving respectfully and learning daily โ and what a day it was! Our students came dressed as their future selves, with doctors, scientists, builders and so many more inspiring careers filling our classrooms. โจ๐บ๏ธ KINDERGARTEN SCHOOL QUEST! ๐บ๏ธโจ As part of their Safe and Ready to Learn reward, our Kindergarten learners arrived yesterday in full disguise โ and we could hardly recognise them! From secret agents to mysterious characters, they stepped straight into an exciting school wide quest. With clues in hand, they travelled around the school completing challenges and uncovering hidden treasures. A magical day of adventure, teamwork and imagination! ๐๐๐
