Year 5 has learnt that they will be learning about 'entertainment' this term with the driving question 'How has science influenced entertainment?'
To begin our inquiry Year 5 experienced different ways people are entertained. Students rotated through activities focused on video games, board games, cards, lego, podcasts, music, videos, reading and art.

Our Year 5 students have been having a fantastic time developing their athletics skills during sport, especially while learning shot put! 💪🏽🏃♀️🏃♂️ It has been wonderful to see students encouraging one another, building confidence and trying their best as they practise their throwing techniques. We are so proud of the positive attitude and enthusiasm they bring to each lesson!

A big thank you to Senior Sergeant Mark Kniepp for joining us at our assembly today to promote National Walk Safely to School Day next Friday and share important road safety reminders with our students. 🚸 Students were encouraged to remember the important message: Stop, Look, Listen and Think whenever they are near roads and traffic. Walking safely to and from school is a great way to build healthy habits, independence and road awareness.
