It has been an eventful start to Term 1, 2018 with our annual school Swimming Carnival being held on Wednesday the 7th of February at Granville Swimming Centre. We had fantastic weather and all staff and students who attended the event had fun and showed great sportsmanship.
All Students had the opportunity to gain house points by participating in both main pool events as well as novelty races.
The final House results for the 2018 swimming carnival were:
1st Kerrigan (160 points) 2nd MacKillop (147 points) 3rd Martin (142 points)
4th Stack (139 points)
Congratulations to the Kerrigan House on winning the overall point score for the day.
Thank you to the parents who provided support and encouragement to the students on the day. Your presence is always so important on these days. Special thanks to Mr Griffiths who was a valued parent helper on the day.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate the staff on another successful event. Thank you for your enthusiasm, and dedication to ensuring our students have a safe and great day.

Our Year 4 historians officially traded their textbooks for LEGO bricks! To wrap up our deep dive into Mesoamerica, we took on the ultimate engineering challenge: recreating the iconic stepped pyramids of the Maya and Aztecs. It wasn't just about stacking blocks; our students had to think like ancient architects, considering: Symmetry and scale 📐 The significance of the "stepped" design 🪜 How these massive structures served as temples and calendars ☀️ Watching their teamwork and creativity flourish was the highlight of our week. Who knew learning about 1,000-year-old civilizations could be this much fun? Check out some of our mini-masterpieces below! 👇
