On Monday at Holy Family we held a whole school prayer of The Rosary.
It was a beautiful way to end the first day back of Term 4 and take time to reflect and pray as a whole school community.-

๐ฟโจ Outdoor Classroom Day Fun! โจ๐ฟ Our amazing Year 2 learners took their Maths lesson outside yesterday for โOutdoor Classroom Day!โโ๏ธ๐ Led by their wonderful teacher, Miss Nicholas, students went on a 3D Object Hunt ๐บ๐ฆ๐ต around our school grounds searching for cylinders, cones, cubes and more! They worked together to explain their thinking using Mathematical language and reasoning ๐ญโ๐ It was a fantastic way to show that learning happens everywhere, especially when the sun is shining and curiosity leads the way! ๐ Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese

๐ Reward Day Fun! ๐๐ซ Today our Year 5 students celebrated their hard work and positive choices with an exciting Reward Day! ๐ Students showed off their favourite jerseys ๐๐ and took part in a fun-filled sporting session full of teamwork, energy and smiles all around! ๐๐ช ๐ Year 1 had double the fun today! ๐ Our students celebrated reaching their Safe and Ready to Learn reward with a colourful Crazy Hair Day! ๐โโ๏ธ๐ซ Weโre so proud of their positive choices and joyful energy โ what a bright and creative bunch! ๐๐

Year 2 celebrated their first reward ๐ for Term 4 with a Teddy Bearโs Picnic Extended Lunch ๐ป๐งบ๐ฅช and a Kahoot! ๐ป๐ฅณ Year 2 achieved this by following our school expectations of live safely ๐ก, learn daily ๐, and love respectfully โค๏ธ. We had a variety of teddy bears ๐งธ join us and enjoyed sharing an extended lunch together. We then went back to class to participate in a Kahoot! with a variety of questions from Disney โจ to Roald Dahlโs โMatildaโ ๐. The students cheered for each other ๐ฃ and celebrated their hard work ๐ช together. We canโt wait to see what our next reward will be! ๐

๐ Mini Fete Fun! ๐ Today, our Year 6 students hosted an incredible Mini Fete to fundraise for their end of year Fun Day! Throughout the day, students across the school joined in the excitement, taking part in a range of fun activities organised and run by our creative and hard working Year 6s. From Disco Fever and an Escape Room to Face Painting, Sponge Throw, Water Gun Fun, and Treasure Hunts, there was something for everyone to enjoy! Students also had a blast with Soccer Shootouts, Ping Pong, Lolly Jar Guess, and delicious Food and Drink Stalls. ๐๐ It was a fantastic day filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit โ a big congratulations to Year 6 for all their effort in making it such a success! ๐

Kindergarten 2026 โ Our First Transition Morning ๐ Today our newest Holy Family members took their first big step on their learning journey! It was a joy to see our future Kindergarten students meet one another, explore their new surroundings, and begin to build the beautiful friendships that will grow over the years ๐๏ธ๐ As they played, shared, and learned together, we were reminded of Pope Leoโs recent words: โEven when we are little, we can all learn to build peace and friendship. Jesus calls us to learn to be friends with everyone, all brothers and sisters. We are all sons and daughters of God.โ ๐ซ This message truly came to life in every smile, every shared block tower, and every moment of wonder among our newest learners. While the children were busy creating and connecting, Mrs Clogher led a special Religious Education session for parents and carers. Families engaged in hands-on activities that reflected how their children will continue to come to know Jesusโ love for us and for others when they begin at Holy Family โค๏ธ Parents also had the opportunity to write a Prayer of Hope โจheartfelt messages for the children beginning Kindergarten in 2026. These prayers will be held close to our hearts as we prepare to welcome our newest little members of the Holy Family community. ๐ Eureka! Year 5 Struck Gold! ๐ฐโ๏ธ Today, our students stepped back in time to 1851 and experienced the excitement of life on the Australian goldfields! From panning for gold in the creek to discovering what it took to survive and strike it rich, students got a real taste of the gold rush spirit. ๐ชโจ There were moments of teamwork, determination and plenty of golden smiles as everyone searched for their fortune. October โ The Month of the Rosary October is a special month in our Church, dedicated to the Rosary. The Rosary is a prayer that helps us reflect on the life of Jesus and Mary, guiding us to grow in faith, hope and love. As a community, we are invited to take time this month to pray the Rosary, at home, at school and together in our parish, asking Mary to intercede for us and draw us closer to her Son, Jesus. ๐ Youโre Invited to Pray the Rosary ๐ We warmly invite all students, parents, and carers to join us in prayer as a community. Together, we will gather to pray the Rosary on Thursday mornings in October at 8:20 am in the School Library. Please bring along your own rosary beads to take part in this special prayer.
