β¨ And thatβs a wrap on our 2025 Advent Concert! β¨ What an incredible evening we shared as a school community. As we begin the Churchβs new year, we paused together to embrace the season of waiting, hope, and trust β preparing our hearts for the coming of Jesus at Christmas. Through prayer, reflection and song, we were reminded that while we wait for God, He is always waiting for us too β ready to meet us with love. β€οΈ Our students and staff lit up the stage with their wonderful singing and joyful dancing, filling the stage with excitement and Christmas spirit. ππΆπ A huge thank you to our parents and families for your support, encouragement, and for being part of this beautiful celebration. We are truly blessed as a community. ππ

π Year 3 dove deep into place value, exploring how numbers are represented through hundreds, tens and ones using materials. They worked together to build, break apart and understand numbers in meaningful ways! π Year 5 hit the field for rugby drills and practice, sharpening their passing, running, attacking and defending skills. Lots of energy, teamwork and determination on display!

β¨ Year 1 Safe & Ready to Learn Reward! β¨ Today Year 1 celebrated their reward for living safely, loving respectfully and learning daily β and what a day it was! Our students came dressed as their future selves, with doctors, scientists, builders and so many more inspiring careers filling our classrooms. The teachers joined in the fun tooβ¦ by dressing up as retired versions of themselves! π΅π§ In the afternoon we enjoyed a lively game of bingo β a favourite pastime of our βretired teachers.β It was such a joyful way to celebrate all the hard work and positive choices our Year 1 students have shown this term. ππ Well done Year 1! π

From secret agents to mysterious characters, they stepped straight into an exciting school wide quest. With clues in hand, they travelled around the school completing challenges and uncovering hidden treasures. A magical day of adventure, teamwork and imagination! πππ

β¨ Kindergarten 2026 Transition Session 3! β¨ Today was a heart-melting moment at Holy Family as our upcoming Year 6 leaders met their Kindergarten buddies for the very first time ππ« There were smiles, shy giggles, little hands reaching for big hands, and the beginning of beautiful friendships that will grow throughout 2026 and beyond π€ Watching our senior students step into their leadership with such kindness and care was a reminder of the words of Jesus: βLet the little children come to meβ¦ for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.ββ¨ A perfect reminder that every act of welcome, gentleness, and love builds the kind of community Jesus calls us to be. Student mobile phone use will be banned across 80 Western Sydney Catholic schools from the beginning of the 2026 school year. The restriction presents a positive opportunity to enhance student outcomes, both in academic excellence and wellbeing.

Year 6 conducted a class survey to compare their snack choices before and after hearing the message, βTomorrow, try to bring a healthy snack β real food fuels your brain!β π§ π They examined correlation in the before data, then repeated the survey and analysed the after results using two-way tables, graphs and percentage calculations. Students were able to clearly see the change the message created β real data in action! πβ¨

Year 3 had an amazing day celebrating their achievement of reaching our Safe and Ready to Learn goal! ππ Their hard work, positive choices and commitment to our expectations truly paid off.
