Our students were proud to attend the Project Compassion Launch: Unite Against Poverty ๐ Through prayer, a meaningful water blessing, and learning about Sisiliaโs story, our students were invited to open their hearts and reflect on how we are called to live with compassion, justice and hope. They listened thoughtfully to inspiring words from Bishop Vincent Long and Jack De Groot, reminding us that even small actions can make a powerful difference. Together, we reflected on how we can bring this message back to our own school community and continue to live our motto: In Christ we live, love and learn. โจ Watch this space, Holy Family community - exciting ways to Unite Against Poverty and support Project Compassion are coming soon. What. A. Day. ๐ Our Year 6 legends have absolutely made the most of every minute at camp! From conquering the Rock Climbing wall ๐งโโ๏ธ to taking on the Giant Swing (with some very brave faces! ๐ ), itโs been non-stop adventure, courage and laughter. Dinner โ Smiles still going strong โ Weโre now heading to the hall for some indoor games to finish off an already fantastic day. Camp memories are well and truly being made! ๐โจ

Our 2026 Holy Family Gardening Club has made a very productive start over the past two weeks ๐ฑ๐ฟ. Students have had lots of fun while working hard to pull out weeds, refresh our garden beds with new soil and plant eggplant seedlings kindly donated by Miss Thatcher ๐๐ชด. Thank you to all who have participated so far this year โ weโre excited to watch our garden grow! ๐ผ๐

Today we farewelled some of our wonderful Chinese student visitors after a truly special cultural exchange experience at our school. ๐จ๐ณโค๏ธ๐ฆ๐บ Our students loved building friendships, sharing learning, and celebrating the richness of each otherโs cultures. To mark their final day, we took part in a traditional Chinese paper-cutting activity โ a beautiful way to honour creativity, symbolism, and connection. โ๏ธ๐งง We send our guests home with warm memories and heartfelt wishes for a joyful and prosperous Chinese New Year. ๐โจ Thank you for the learning and friendships youโve shared with us โ youโll always be part of our school community.

We began our school year gathered in faith and unity at our Beginning School Mass ๐โ๏ธ, coming together as our Holy Family community to place the year ahead in Godโs hands. It was a special celebration as we commissioned our Year 6 leaders, praying that they be guided by courage, wisdom and compassion as they lead our school ๐. We also warmly welcomed our new staff and students, who we are so grateful to have join our Holy Family community ๐ค๐. A heartfelt thank you to the families who joined us in this beautiful celebration โ your presence made it even more special. ๐๐บ Dance Fever is back! Weโre so excited to have zing_activ run our Dance Fever program again this term at our school. Over the past few years, our students have absolutely loved being part of this program! They have so much fun learning energetic dance routines while building confidence and practising the elements of dance โ from timing and rhythm to movement and expression. ๐ถโจ Itโs always a highlight seeing their smiles, teamwork, and creativity shine on the dance floor. โจ Big smiles. Little backpacks. Brave facesโจ Today our Kindergarten students stepped through the gates for their very first day of school and what a joy it was to witness! There were excited waves, gentle goodbyes, new friendships forming, and so much courage packed into those tiny frames.
