Year Six students from Holy Family embarked on a learning experience they surely will not forget anytime soon. During their time at Delany students were provided with a taste as to what High School is like.
Students sampled a taste of lessons from a range of Key Learning Areas such as Science and Technology and Design and Technology. Upon, returning to Holy Family students were excited to share many stories about their day's adventures.

From secret agents to mysterious characters, they stepped straight into an exciting school wide quest. ✨ Kindergarten 2026 Transition Session 3! ✨ Today was a heart-melting moment at Holy Family as our upcoming Year 6 leaders met their Kindergarten buddies for the very first time 💛👫 There were smiles, shy giggles, little hands reaching for big hands, and the beginning of beautiful friendships that will grow throughout 2026 and beyond 🤝 Watching our senior students step into their leadership with such kindness and care was a reminder of the words of Jesus: “Let the little children come to me… for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”✨ A perfect reminder that every act of welcome, gentleness, and love builds the kind of community Jesus calls us to be. Our Kindergarten 2026 students explored their new classrooms, met new friends, and enjoyed activities that sparked curiosity and joy 🖍️📚🌈 We can’t wait to see these beautiful buddy relationships grow even more in 2026! 💛🌟

Year 6 conducted a class survey to compare their snack choices before and after hearing the message, “Tomorrow, try to bring a healthy snack — real food fuels your brain!” 🧠🍎 They examined correlation in the before data, then repeated the survey and analysed the after results using two-way tables, graphs and percentage calculations. Students were able to clearly see the change the message created — real data in action! 📊✨

Year 3 had an amazing day celebrating their achievement of reaching our Safe and Ready to Learn goal! 🎉👏 Their hard work, positive choices and commitment to our expectations truly paid off. Kindergarten 2026 – Our Second Transition Morning 💛 Our newest Holy Family learners returned for their second Transition session yesterday, and what a joyful morning it was! ✨ The children continued building confidence as they explored their new learning spaces, deepened friendships, and showed growing excitement about beginning their Kindergarten journey at Holy Family next year 🖍️📚 While our future Kindy students were busy learning and playing together, parents and carers spent the morning with our Instructional Coach, Mr Wallis, discovering how families can support their children’s learning at home and unpacking the incredible work happening at Holy Family during our English block. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, ask questions, and see how our school-home partnership supports every learner’s growth. Next week, our 2026 Kindy students will take another exciting step, meeting their Year 6 Buddies! 🧒👧 Watch this space as those special friendships begin to form. We can’t wait to continue welcoming our new families into the Holy Family community, where faith, learning, and love grow together every day. 💫

🌿✨ Outdoor Classroom Day Fun! ✨🌿 Our amazing Year 2 learners took their Maths lesson outside yesterday for ‘Outdoor Classroom Day!’☀️📚 Led by their wonderful teacher, Miss Nicholas, students went on a 3D Object Hunt 🔺🟦🔵 around our school grounds searching for cylinders, cones, cubes and more! Year 2 celebrated their first reward 🏆 for Term 4 with a Teddy Bear’s Picnic Extended Lunch 🐻🧺🥪 and a Kahoot! 💻🥳 Year 2 achieved this by following our school expectations of live safely 🏡, learn daily 📚, and love respectfully ❤️. We had a variety of teddy bears 🧸 join us and enjoyed sharing an extended lunch together. We then went back to class to participate in a Kahoot! with a variety of questions from Disney ✨ to Roald Dahl’s ‘Matilda’ 📖. The students cheered for each other 📣 and celebrated their hard work 💪 together. We can’t wait to see what our next reward will be! 🌟
